Step 1: Your Virtual Consultation
Your journey begins with a virtual consultation directly with Dr. Mehmet Nurettin Kiral, an English-speaking surgeon. During this consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your goals, ask questions, and learn whether rhinoplasty is appropriate for you.
To help us better understand your anatomy and expectations, you may be asked to provide photographs of your nose from several angles before your consultation.

Preparing for surgery
Patients typically arrive one day before surgery and remain in Istanbul for approximately one week before returning home.
For patients who prefer to stay close to the clinic, we also offer a modern one-bedroom apartment located within the Lotus Nişantaşı building, where our clinic is based. This provides a convenient option within walking distance of your appointments.
Step 3: Arriving in Istanbul
Our clinic is located in Lotus Nişantaşı, in the Şişli district of Istanbul—one of the city’s most vibrant and central neighborhoods.
After arriving in Istanbul, you’ll attend your in-person consultation and examination with Dr. Kiral. This personalized surgical planning appointment allows him to confirm your treatment plan, answer any remaining questions, and ensure everything is ready for your procedure.
Patients are encouraged to use this opportunity to discuss any final concerns before surgery.
Step 4: Surgery Day
Your rhinoplasty procedure is performed at a nearby private hospital under general anesthesia.
On the day of surgery, you’ll meet with Dr. Kiral before your procedure to review the surgical plan and answer any final questions.
Every rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Kiral is an open rhinoplasty, allowing for precise visualization of the nasal structures and individualized refinement based on each patient’s anatomy.
Following surgery, you’ll spend time recovering under medical supervision before returning to your accommodation to begin your recovery.
Step 5: Recovering in Istanbul
The first week after surgery is an important part of the healing process.
During your stay, our team remains available to answer questions and provide guidance whenever needed. WhatsApp communication is available throughout your entire journey—from your initial inquiry before booking through your recovery after returning home.
Most patients spend the week resting, taking gentle walks, and allowing the body to heal. Light walking is encouraged, while strenuous activities should be avoided.
Approximately one week after surgery, you’ll return to the clinic for your follow-up appointment and cast removal before traveling home.

Located in the Lotus Nişantaşı building in Şişli, our clinic provides a modern, comfortable and private setting for every stage of your rhinoplasty journey. This is where you'll meet with Dr. Kiral for your in-person consultation, pre-operative planning and post-operative follow-up appointments.
For international patients, having a welcoming and easily accessible clinic can make the experience of traveling abroad for surgery feel much more comfortable. Our team will be here to guide you throughout your stay, from your arrival in Istanbul through your follow-up care before returning home.

Returning Home
Although your rhinoplasty journey in Istanbul may come to an end, your care does not.
After returning home, our team remains available for recovery support, answering questions and providing guidance throughout your recovery. Patients are encouraged to stay in touch through WhatsApp and attend scheduled virtual follow-up appointments when appropriate.
Healing continues gradually over the following months, and we remain committed to supporting you throughout your recovery.
Can I Stay for Less Than One Week?
While we generally recommend staying in Istanbul for one week, we understand that this isn’t always possible.
Our standard protocol is for Dr. Mehmet Nurettin Kiral to remove your cast approximately one week after surgery and apply a second protective cast, which naturally falls off about one week later.
If your schedule requires you to return home sooner, this can often be accommodated. In these cases, you may travel as early as the day after surgery, keeping the original cast in place. It is designed to remain on for approximately two weeks before naturally loosening and coming off.
Dr. Kiral will discuss the most appropriate recovery plan based on your individual circumstances during your consultation.

Patients may choose from a variety of hotels in the Nişantaşı area or stay in our fully furnished one-bedroom apartment located in the Lotus Nişantaşı building, providing exceptional convenience for clinic visits and follow-up appointments.
